‘Release MGNREGA payment to labourers’

Jammu, Feb 06: Congress today demanded grant of payments to labourers under Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) which has been pending for six months in Jammu and Kashmir.
The state government should release payments under MGNREGA pending for past 6 months to labourers, Congress MLA G A Mir said in a statement here.
He said that labourers were on the verge of starvation.
