9 injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Feb 22: Nine persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley Wednesday.
A minibus bearing registration number JK01D-2571 collided with an unknown auto-rickshaw, resulting in injuries to three passengers – Mymoona, wife of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Usman Abad, Bemina; Neelofar, wife of Ghulam Hassan Ahanger resident of Khalil Colony, Soura, and their daughter Ziman who were traveling in the auto-rickshaw. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A car bearing registration number JK01H-5137 hit an electric pole at Kunzar town on Srinagar-Gulmarg highway, resulting in injuries to driver Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Hassan, his wife Haseena, residents of Gukhhama, Kunzar, and Shirza daughter of Sonaullah Sheikh, resident of Kunzar. All the injured were hospitalized.
Another car JK09-0802 hit an auto-rickshaw bearing chassis number ZFNK-403417 at Jamia Road Bazar Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Ulfat, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad Malik, resident of Malik Mohalla Kupwara; Irfan Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Qadir, and Irfan’s wife Shameema, residents of Natnoosa. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
