APPEAL TO HONB’LE CHIEF JUSTICE OF JAMMU & KASHMIR HIGH COURT JAMMU/SRINAGAR
Tuesday, 07 02 2012 09:04
Dear Editor
We the aspirants for the posts of “JUNIOR ASSISTANT IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR HIGH COURT SRINAGAR” who missed their exam which was held on 18th of Dec.2011 want to draw your kind attention towards following few lines.
That we had applied for the said posts in response to the initial Publication of the notification No.8/PSY dated 01-04-05 for the same in 2005.
That we appeared for the said examination in 2005 and waited for the results but fatefully the exam was cancelled for the reason better known to the authorities .The subsequent notification for the same was published in 2006 vide notification No 157/PSY/2006 dated 11 -08-2006 in which it was mentioned , that the candidates who had already applied in 2005 need not apply again. And again in 2009 the re-publication of the said notification vide No-105 Dated 9-04-2009 kept the conditions same for the earlier aspirants. Once more vide Notification No. 598 /PSY Dated 02-09-2011 the centre notice for the examination was published and again postponed by the authorities for un known reasons.
But to our utter dismay, we felt shocked to hear about the conduction of exam and interviews of the only aspirants who were able to read the Greater Kashmir on Dec 1st in which the venue and date of examination was mentioned. Unfortunately we didn’t got any intimation from the authorities by means of vogue individual Call letters or the repetition of the examination notification in the dailies would have made it possible for us to appear in the same. Owing to long information gap we couldn’t kept the pace with notifications and thus were unable to re- write our exams.
That we have intimated the authorities through the applications requesting the re-examination of the said posts for the missed out candidates. But we didn’t got any response from the authorities till now.
It is pertinent to mention that we had already appeared in the examination in 2005 for the said posts. As we have still the roll No. Slips in possession meant for the purpose.
Unfortunately most of the candidates have crossed the upper age limit for the recruitment so it will be a mercy chance or a “life saving” chance for fateful aspirants. As we are now unable to apply for the govt. jobs on words.
Now we request HONB’LE THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE JAMMU & KASHMIR HIGH COURT JAMMU /SRINAGAR the only hope left for we people whose compassionate intervention in the matter at an earliest can save the jeopardizing carrier of large no of aspirants .
Thanking in anticipation.
With regards from
Missed out Aspirants of
J&K High Court Junior Assistant Examination.
Through Farooq Ahmad. Bijbehara.
