Director Fisheries review developmental programmes

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 06: Director Fisheries today convened a meeting to review the developmental programmes of the department.
During the meeting, he was apprised about the various developmental programmes of the department and was informed that about 80-90 percent expenditure has been incurred on various schemes.
As per physical achievements, the meeting was told that 90 percent of the revenue targets have been achieved in district and state sector. The trout egg production has increased upto45 lakhs and the sale of trout fish is to the tune of 100 tons. Five trout rearing units were also completed during the current fiscal year.
The Director stressed upon the officers to ensure punctuality and discipline and work with added zeal. He also impressed upon the officers to visit their jurisdiction frequently and take stock of the situation on ground level and ensures that the ongoing works should be completed by the end of the next month.
