Gul inaugurates Madr-i-Meharban Sports Stadium at Colony Palapora

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 06: Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul today inaugurated the Madr-i-Meharban Memorial Sports Stadium, New Colony at Palapora, Srinagar. He also toured the Eidgah constituency and met the people who apprised him with their problems and demands.
Gul while addressing the people said that the government has launched various welfare schemes and people should keep themselves abreast of these schemes to avail maximum benefit from them.
The Advisor said that farmers from Palapora would be sent to other states to make them aware of the latest developments in the agriculture sector so that they can use the same information to increase productivity. He also stressed that youth should avail benefits from various skill development programme to secure employment opportunities in various sectors.
Gul informed that road widening works on Noor Bagh Krishbal road and construction of a foot bridge will be taken up soon for the convenience of the people. He also asked the concerned department to conduct a fresh survey of BPL families in Palapora.
The Advisor asked the Mohalla and Halqa Presidents of the respective areas to project the problems of their areas so that an early redressal of the problems is ensured.
Gul met various other deputations during his tour and gave a patient hearing to their problems and demands.
He assured the people that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned authorities.
