Problems of Zainapora redressed

Shopian, Feb 06: On the instructions of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, the Deputy Commissioner Shopian inspected the Community Health Centre at Zainapora and Allopathic Dispensary Imamsahib along with Chief Medical Officer and Block Medical Officer Shopian today.
He interacted with the citizens of the areas, as well as the Sarpanch of Zainapora. DC Shopian issued instructions for shifting of one additional ambulance from District HQ to the CHC Zainapora, an official spokesman said.
Services of Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Dental Surgeon were appreciated by the locals, as he has been working in the CHC for the past two years on voluntary basis. CMO Shopian was directed by DC to fix honorarium for the doctor under NRHM.
The Electric Sub-station feeding the locality has also got damaged and power supply affected. The Executive Engineer assured that the same would be rectified immediately. Various other decisions were taken to ensure that the CHC functions to the satisfaction of the locals and other local demands of Zainapora are redressed, spokesman claimed.
